I use this Lectionary which gives the Church of England reading from the Bible for each day - and it is also a diary. I am following all the three morning readings for this year, at present.
My Favourite Christian Blogs
It would be, wouldn't it - merely because it takes so much of my time. This is my own blog (Alison) which is about Christian and literary insights which come to me - now and then.
This is Cambridge educated Michael Wenham's website. Michael has has motor neurone disease but, like a famous Cambridge astro-physicist who recently reached his 70th with a similar condition is "looking upwards" - in his case to catch glimpses of God and share them.
"Archbishop Cranmer" is penned by a very talented anonymous writer interested in politics - he is more interesting than most famous columnists. I am not necessarily of his political persuasions. He sometimes writes about plain Christian issues too. Topical, witty and newsy.
"A Walk up the Avenue" belongs to my Cambridge education friend, Alison who loves nature and their allotment. It is a site about to be expanded and developed - with great promise. Watch this - or rather that space.
Joni Eareckson Tada's blog - famous quadriplegic Christian writer's blog. She recently also developed cancer - but is rising above it through writing.
